Lisa J. Adkins
Lisa J. Adkins has experience in founding and running her own businesses, and it's her mastery of all things IT, and her connections in Albuquerque and around the country that make her an effective advocate for women in tech and startups. She is the Co-Founder and COO of Ingenuity Software Labs, a custom software development specializing in modern software, business process automation and apps. Lisa also serves as COO of FatPipe ABQ, a collaborative workspace; and the BioScience Center, a New Mexico incubator/accelerator for startups in life sciences and biotech.
Lisa serves on the board of the New Mexico Technology Council, the leadership table of City Alive, and on the Advisory Board of the New Mexico Foreign Investment Center. She is a mother, a coach and mentor, an avid runner and an outspoken advocate for small business in New Mexico. As an active member and leader in the technology community, she is passionate about creating work environments in which professionals can succeed while loving their jobs and maintaining health, wellness and balance in their lives.
Erin's interest in learning how to code began in 2014. She comes from a background in digital marketing and project management, and took her first Girl Develop It class in 2015. Erin went on to attend CNM’s Deep Dive Coding Bootcamp, and aspires to one day be a CSS wizard. She holds a BS in Communications and a BA in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin, and is also a TEFL certified English teacher. Outside of her day job as a developer, she enjoys hot yoga, reading books from Oprah’s recommended list, and practicing her Spanish skills whenever possible. Erin is a 6th generation New Mexican and serves as a co-leader of Albuquerque’s Girl Develop It chapter.
