Kathryn Wagner is a Wordpress developer, and the owner of the Charlottesville business Wagner Media Works. Kathryn loves helping nonprofits and businesses communicate effectively (and with style!) using digital tools.
Ann Lewis is the CTO of MoveOn.org and the founder of the Central Virginia chapter. She is based in Staunton, VA. Ann is passionate about progressive political campaigning, and believes everyone should have access to education and information about careers in technology. Ann graduated from Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science in 2003 and over the last decade has worked as a software engineer at Amazon.com, a handful of startup companies, and Rosetta Stone. When she's not coding or teaching other people how to code, she enjoys hiking the numerous trails of the beautiful shenandoah valley, travelling, and painting.
Shayna is currently a web specialist with Scitent eLearning, specializing in WordPress customization. Previously, she built on her background in jewelry design as a freelance developer focusing on dynamic sites for small business and artists. She excels at combining form and function, beauty and practicality. Shayna earned her Bachelors of Science in Website Development and Interactive Communication from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She is an active member of the WordPress community, participating in a regional and national WordCamps and on support forums. When not at the computer, Shayna can be found at her jeweler’s bench or in the field collecting rocks and minerals.
Alisha is a jill-of-all-trades Wordpress consultant and Rosetta Stone alum with experience in software development, project management, and product research and design. When she's not working on technical projects that make a positive difference in the world, you can find her directing plays for her theater company, and teaching college drama classes.
Rennie is a project manager at U.Va., and loves hanging out with techie women.
Adalie Pierce-McManamon is lead ux designer at CCRi, an analytics and software engineering company with a focus on predictive analytics and geospatial data. As an adjunct at University of Virginia, Adalie teaches graduate courses on data visualization and iterative mapping in the School of Architecture. She completed her training at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and now enjoys working in both the digital dev world and the IRL built environment.
