Brielle was born in Oakland, and has lived in California for most of her life. At the University of California, Davis she studied Communication, examining how media & technology influence behavior & perception. After interning for the National Arthritis Foundation in Washington, D.C., and researching Health Reform campaign messaging, Brielle knew that she wanted to support behavioral health education and access for minority groups through the lens of communication. She moved to Southern California to work in medical education marketing for Kaplan Test Prep, while also pursuing her MA in Communication at San Diego State University, researching health & instructional communication and teaching Public Speech. Since returning to the Bay Area, Brielle worked for Code for America to help manage volunteer groups build technology for civic and social services, while learning front end web development. She currently teaches yoga at Corepower Yoga. She works for Girls Leadership and offer girls and women different channels to express & care for themselves and their communities.
