I am a Sri Lankan American, mother, coder, coach, runner and non conformist. I currently work as a software craftsman for Pillar Technology. In the last decade I've dabbled in several tech stacks. The language is not what I relate to but the clarity and ease of the message. I've been a proponent of Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming and Scrum and will continue to be an evangelist of knowledge sharing. Building joyful learning spaces is something I'm passionate about.

Sarah E. Collins
Sarah cringes at the sight of Papyrus in the wild, knows far too many WordPress themes by name, and does things like curate hex color codes for fun. She knows just enough Front End to be dangerous and believes firmly in the value of learning by having to fix what you’ve just broken.
She started with GDI as a student, gained enough confidence in her skills to step up and teach our Intro to Wordpress class.
She also founded and runs two local meetup groups: Toledo Biz Masterminds and Wordpress Toledo.
